BIG UPDATE: The BVM will SOON have a permanent home in Aubrey, TX. Our location will be just SE of downtown Aubrey, only fifteen minutes from Denton and less than an hour from Dallas. Don't worry, though, we'll still continue to mobilize for house shows and mini-films.

We LOVE to record indie rock, indie pop, alternative, jangle pop, shoegaze, folk, noise rock, psychedelic, dream stuff, country, americana-banana, experimental, chillwave, post-punk, ambient, noise pop, no wave, post-rock, dark wave, sludge metal, jazz-ish, freak rock, IDM, electro-whatever, chamber pop, post-hardcore, avant garde, soul, slo-core, dub (?), punk rock, lo-fi, hi-fi, and anything else we find mildly interesting.

Hey, don't freak out, we split PAYMENT up into 3 parts: 1/3 two-weeks before the session, 1/3 at the session, and 1/3 on final approval/delivery of your masters. For your added convenience we accept cash (preferred), credit cards, and (sometimes) gear trades. Checks are evil!

Randy Cochran, Owner/Engineer
After working on a what has seemed like a bazillion projects as a musician, recording engineer, and producer the dream is now to create a space for everything new, cool, and totally misunderstood."The BVM was born and built to help musicians love the studio again. No matter your genre or personality, we want to make your record sound great for an affordable price and give you the friendliest, creativityist, most hospitabliest environment to do it in."

Loves: room sound, analog hum, oppressively gynormous ribbon mics, a series of tubes, bloop beeps, beep bloops, pitch shifting, Steve Albini and Mitch Easter.

Note: Gear used varies per session. Or does it!?
